How to
identify it?
Chenopodium
opulifolium
is an annual plant of the Amaranthaceae family. It is a common and not
rare plant in some regions of Algeria and grows on roadsides 20-100 cm tall.
The leaves are alternate, almost wide and not long, rhombic, with glossy
serrated edges in the lower part, and obtuse in the upper part, the flowers are
greenish-green and collected in axillary and terminal inflorescences. Smooth,
matte black seeds. It is difficult to distinguish between the different species
of the genus Chenopodium. They often have so many varieties that getting to
know them usually requires some subtlety and skill.
